Like so much of the rest of you this lock down has not been a friend to my figure. With no gyms and comfort food at hand …… well let’s just say I’ve put on a little pandemic weight. But now my Gym is open and I can re focus my energy to have that December 4 pack. With that being said Diet is really the key. One major change was having a healthy smoothie for Breakfast, and one for Dinner (During the week) lunch go wild. Here are a few you may find exciting coming to us by our friends at – Healthish
CBD Mango Smoothie
Mangoes and turmeric contain vitamins and antioxidants that are said to help brighten dull skin.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 mango, peeled, chopped
- 1 banana, chopped
- 1 1″ piece ginger, peeled, finely grated
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut water
- ½ tsp. CBD oil
- ½ tsp. ground turmeric
- Pinch of kosher salt
Purée mango, banana, ginger, coconut water, CBD oil, turmeric, salt, and 1 cup ice in a blender until smooth. Divide between glasses.
Blueberry, Lime, and Cashew Smoothies
Out of all the healthy smoothie recipes, these nutty, blueberry smoothies are a favorite.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 Medjool dates, pitted
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- ⅓ cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- Large pinch of kosher salt
Purée dates, coconut water, cashews, blueberries, raspberries, yogurt, lime juice, salt, and 2 cups ice in a blender until smooth.
Mango, Berry & Banana Smoothie

This fruity smoothie is tasty, healthy, and totally customizable. Freeze your ingredients in advance to decrease prep time and add or subtract dates and banana depending on how sweet you want yours to be.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 very ripe peeled banana (preferably frozen)
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- ¾ cup coconut water
- ½ cup frozen blackberries or blueberries
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Tasty, and healthy, too: Coconut water is high in potassium and other electrolytes And Flaxseeds are a good source of beneficial omega-3s.
Purée banana, strawberries , mango, coconut water, blackberries, yogurt, and flaxseeds in a blender until smooth. Add protein powder, mix and enjoy
Chill-Out Honeydew Cucumber Slushy

INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups honeydew (from about 1 small), rind removed, flesh cut into 1″ pieces, frozen
- 2½ cups coconut water
- ⅓ cup mint leaves
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
- 6 oz. English hothouse cucumber (about ½ cucumber), peeled, cut into 1″ pieces, plus more sliced for garnish
RECIPE PREPARATION
- Blend honeydew, coconut water, mint, lime juice, salt, 6 oz. cucumber, and 2 cups ice in a blender until smooth. Divide among glasses, then garnish with cucumber slices.
- Do Ahead: Slushy can be made 1 hour ahead. Store in blender jar in freezer, then reblend on high speed to reincorporate.
Berry, Beet, Mint, Lime, and Chia Seed Smoothie

Makes about 1½ cups
INGREDIENTS
The liquid is really up to you. Nut milks add body and protein, but if you prefer something sweeter, try juice. Less heavy? Go with coconut water.
- ¾ cup almond milk
- ¾ cup frozen blackberries and/or blueberries
- ¼ cup grated beet (from about 1 small)
- ¼ cup mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon ground chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Pinch of kosher salt
RECIPE PREPARATION
- Using smoothie or ice crush setting, purée almond milk, blackberries, beet, mint, lime juice, chia seeds, honey, salt, and ½ cup ice in a blender until smooth.
Beauty-Food Mango Slushy

Mangoes are packed with vitamins C and A, both of which provide major skin-brightening benefits. Lime and chile keep this slushy spicy and bright. This recipe is part of the Healthyish slushy trifecta.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 large mangoes, peeled, cut into 1″ pieces, frozen (about 4 cups)
- 2½ cups coconut water
- ⅔ cup fresh lime juice (from about 4½ limes)
- ¾ tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. Aleppo-style pepper, plus more for serving. or cayenne pepper
RECIPE PREPARATION
- Blend mango, coconut water, lime juice, salt, 1 tsp. pepper, and 2 cups ice in a blender until smooth. Divide among glasses, then sprinkle with more pepper.
- Do Ahead: Slushy can be made 1 hour ahead. Store in blender jar in freezer, then reblend on high speed to reincorporate.
Parsley, Kale, and Apple Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup (packed) flat-leaf parsley (leaves and stems)
- 4 kale leaves (center ribs removed)
- 1 granny smith apple
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled, & seeded
- 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
- 1/2 tsp. Turmeric
RECIPE PREPARATION
- Purée ingredients with 1 cup water in a blender until smooth (add water if too thick).
Matcha Kills Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana, frozen, cut into 1” pieces
- 1 cup frozen pineapple pieces
- 1 cup fresh parsley, spinach, or kale leaves
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed oil
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup (nectar)
- 1 teaspoon matcha (green tea powder)
- ½ teaspoon finely grated peeled ginger
- 2 tablespoons flaxseeds for garnish

Purée banana, pineapple, parsley, almond milk, almond butter, flaxseed oil, agave, matcha, and ginger in a blender. Sweeten with more agave, if desired.
